Right ear listening

Your steady heartbeat

Left ear hearing

Random pit-a-pats

Of a light spring rain

All I can feel

Is where you skin

Touches mine

And your breath

Caressing my face

Peace, Love and Joy

Fill me from within

God's way of saying

Good morning

Opening my eyes

Our room dimly lit

By dawn's twilight

I notice the boisterous chatter

Of our winged friends

I look up

You smile at me

My heart skips a beat

God's way of showing me

That you and I

Are what heaven is like
