There are 20 RV sites at Moro Bay State Park, although they are do not have full hookups. They do, however, have water and electricity and can be used for if you are staying in a tent. There is a limit of 8 people per site and only one camping unit that consists of a maximum of two structures, such as two tents. These 20 RV sites must be registered to a person who is at least 18 years old and the person whom the site is registered to must occupy the site. The time limit for staying at Moro Bay State Park campground is 14 days consecutively in a 30 day time period. These are important facts that should be considered when trying to decide where to stay when in the area.
Pets are welcome at Moro Bay State Park Campground as long as they are leashed or caged when out of their camping unit and they must always be cleaned up after. Pets must also be prevented from disturbing the other visitors in the park.
Facilities or amenities for guests to use while staying at Moro Bay State Park include hot showers and clean restrooms, a dump station, a pavilion and picnic sites all for those camping or spending the day here. There are also facilities for boaters such as a boat ramp, a marina with gasoline, boats to rent and a dry dock. Visitors will also find a store, a playground, a walking trail and the Moro Bay Ferry Exhibit to help keep them occupied. Visitors to Arkansas State Parks, such as Moro Bay State Park, need to be aware that some facilities may be closed at times throughout the year, such as the bathhouses in campgrounds being closed from December through February due to the drop in attendance and use.
Moro Bay State Park Campground is only 29 miles out of Warren, Arkansas on US 63. It is also 23 miles out of El Dorado, Arkansas on US 63. There is a laundromat, Brookshire Brothers Grocery Store, Regions Bank, Taco Bell, Arby's, Popeye's and McDonald's all just 19 miles away.
