Moses Angers God!! Exodus 32= 19

Mildred Windham
Even though God loved and used Moses in a mighty way, Moses angered God by saying, I am slow of speech and a slow tongue, Moses felt inadequate to be a spokesman, he wasn't of eloquent speech, it was not only a desire by the Egyptians to be an eloquent speaker but it could mean a great standing in social graces and good decisions,
God said "who created your speech and tongue? So God appointed Aaron, Moses brother to be spokesman for Moses.
Moses it seems is unsure of himself because he again told the Lord, I am of uncircumcised lips, why would Pharaoh listen to me? God told him, Aaron a prophet and Moses himself was a God to Pharaoh.
Israel was Gods personal possession, his peculiar people, his personal property. God loved his children Israel.
God called for Moses to come to Mount Sinai, bring no priests with you just you and Aaron. God gave instructions to the children of Israel on false Gods, graven images, idols, vanity, he forbids profanity, and false oaths, and using Gods name in vain.
God gave the first commandments to Moses, when he spoke them on the mount . The people feared when they heard the trumpet sounding, the thundering, the lightening flashing, the mountain smoking, the people stood afar off as Moses approached them, but he bid them not to fear.
These next verses and chapters are our instructions before the ten commandments are delivered to the people.
Ch 20= 22 God demands exclusive worship.
Ch, 21= 1 the treatment of servants.
V/12 Law concerning acts of violence.
V/26 Laws concerning responsibility.
Ch, 27= 1 Laws of human relations. etc -- .
Ch, 32=19 Moses breaks the ten commandments when he comes down the mountain and sees the people worshiping a golden calf they had made from jewelry,
And they were doing vile things not pleasing to God.
V/25 the idols slain.
Ch, 33= the tabernacle moved.
Ch, 34= the tablets renewed.
V/10 Gods covenant, God made a covenant with all the people, he said' I will do marvels such as has not been seen in all the earth nor in any nation, you shall see the work of the Lord, it is a terrible thing I will do to you. (Gods anger is unfurled on his people), he's tired fooling around with uncircumcised and unlearned people. that want listen to his words. God will give up on us. His spirit want always strive with man.
