Your Highness

Production Notes:
Big Stars: Steve Carell has three movies out during the year. Adam Sandler has two.
Danny McBride gets to carry a big budget movie. Will Ferrell has a great cast in The Other Guys.
With the success of The Hangover last year, we will see more R rated comedies which take a bigger gamble to provide bigger laughs.

Toy Story 3 will clean up at the big office.

Date Night is my pick for the best comedy of the year, cementing Steve Carell and Tina Fey's status as full-fledged movie stars.

  • How many movies in 2010 features Steve Carell?
  • Who finally gets to carry the lead in a big-budget movie?
Look for a big return of R rated comedies in 2010. They were considerably absent in the earlier part of the decade.
