Valentine's Day

Directed by Garry Marshall

Starring - Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Shirley MacLaine, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Swift

Release date - February 10, 2010

An all-star cast team up with Pretty Woman director (Marshall) in a delightfully romantic and hilarious twist of characters tied up in relationships in the Los Angeles singles' scene. With the quantity and quality of actors in this movie, nothing short of a classic can be expected.

I Love You Phillip Morris

Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa

Starring - Jim Carrey, Ewan McGregor and Leslie Mann

Release date - February 12, 2010

Carrey may make this movie absolutely fabulous, as a straight laced cop who finally comes out of the closet and changes his life forever. After moving across the country, he turns into a small time hood and ends up in jail, where he finds his soul mate (McGregor). He goes into a "Cable Guy-esque" obsession, doing everything he can to be with his man.

Hot Tub Time Machine

Directed by Steve Pink

Starring - John Cusack and Chevy Chase

Release date - February 26, 2010

My personal choice of a great comedy sleeper in 2010 is this "so stupid it has to be funny" flick that sets four men in a Jacuzzi back in time to 1986 to recover their lost youth. Chase plays a repair man who seems to know more than he says, and Cusack looks to be in his own youthful element in a quasi-80's movie.

Date Night

Directed by Shawn Levy

Starring - Steve Carell and Tina Fey

Release date - April 10, 2010

Excellent writing and the pairing of two of the best actors in comedy propel this Shawn Levy movie to the top of the "must-see" list for 2010. An average couple (Carell and Fey) takes another couple reservations at a posh restaurant and a snowball effect ensues as a case of mistaken identity leads them into dangerous and riotously funny encounters. I predict that this will be the first of several films starring the two comedians.

Toy Story 3

Directed by Lee Unkrich

Starring - Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, and John Ratzenberger

Release date - June 18, 2010

The well loved cast, from the previous two Pixar movies, return to give voice to Buzz, Woody and the rest of the toys in this animated adventure. In this installment the toys are about to be relegated to storage when they are mistakenly tossed in the trash and end up in a, less than desirable Day Care. With the cowboy and spaceman in the lead, they attempt to break out and find a new place to call home.
