While some people may associate the city of Baltimore with the Ravens, there are many uncovered jewels that this city has to offer. The city of Baltimore is best known for its rich culture; however it's also complimented on its rich selection of produce. Below I have listed the most popular Farmers Markets in Baltimore Maryland.

Baltimore Farmers Market: When going to the Baltimore Farmers Market sticks to the ground rule of "no credit cards". Bringing your credit card will cause you more of an inconvenience than anything else. This market has some of the freshest produce by having local farmers and orchards bring their best of the season. The cheap prices here are hard to beat by any means. There are lots and lots of food vendors that offer everything from hotdogs to mini donuts. If you're a fan a sweets, you must try the mini donut station, it might change your life! You may want to get there early if you're wishing to get fresh seafood and meats as they sale out very quick. This farmers market has fresh crispy vegetables such as salad blends, forget the grocery store, visit this market instead.

Mill Valley Garden Farmers Market: The Mill Valley Garden Farmers Market is different than any other farmers market around; it's open almost every day of the week. Most farmers' market wait until the weekends to come out, this doesn't happen at Mill Valley. If you're searching for fresh dairy produces such as cheese, milk and eggs, head over to their huge dairy department for your selection. While offering a great selection of food, they also have a huge selection of garden supplies for those wishing to grow their own fruits and vegetables. The vendors and farmers at this market are more than helpful as they are willing to go out of their way to satisfy their customers. It's rare that these vendors will have extra bags if you plan on getting a lot of items, be prepared and bring a couple of your own bags.
