Post a CommentWe prefer less common names with meaning. Our German Shorthaired Pointer we named "Frieden" because we got him the Sunday after 9/11 and Frieden means "Peace" in German. Next we adopted a 13" Beagle from a shelter which named him "Bailey". Since Frieden would watch the movie, "Cats and Dogs" from start to finish, over and over, we changed the name from Bailey to "Lou"(the lead role) and it suits him perfectly. Most recently while we were driving to a job, we spotted a stray running scared, eating dirt and getting too close to a busy highway. We pulled over and found a untagged, filthy,starving, flea infested and wounded Walker Coonhound. We lured him to us with leftover sub sandwich which he devoured. We couldn't bare to leave him sick, a mere skeleton, cold and about to get himself killed. He was all too happy to get in the truck with us and be a very good boy. We immediately took him to PetSmart for care because it was late a
'bogie' also references to fighter pilot language.
I named my dog Baily and i'm naming my new dog Chloe Marie if its a girl and J.T if its a boy. J.T. stands for Jack Terrance. SOOOO CUTE!
