Most Unique Gifts for Kids for Under $15.00

Your Guide to Cheap Gifts Kids Will Love

Angela W. La Fon
Do you like to be the grandpa that finds the coolest gifts ever? Do you strive to be the aunt that always finds original gifts for kids? Do you really want Santa to rock at your house? If you have a lot of gifts to buy for kids for Christmas those $29.99 and up price tags can blow the budget and dampen the Christmas spirit. I buy Christmas gifts for some cool customers from ages two to twelve and this year I've found some gifts that will knock their Christmas socks off and all for under $15.00 each.

"Please use my pretty doorbell!"

This is really the coolest gift for girls. It's a doorbell for their bedroom door. On one side there is a flower with a push button attached to a 77 inch wire that runs inside of the bedroom. Inside the girl's room, there is a beautiful butterfly that lights up and dings! Find it at Amazon.com for $12.95 for Christmas 2011. There's also a pink princess crown doorbell for under $10.00.

Recommended for girls eight and up that like pink and have everything they need.

Kids naturally love these unique bracelets with flowers or bugs.

These bracelets are exclusively from Toys to Grow On and they only $9.95 each for a set of three in either flowers or bugs for Christmas 2011. Wow. That means you could get six cool gifts for under $20.00. These bracelets have braided nylon bands and either flowers or bugs in an acrylic showcase.

Recommended for boys or girls five and up that are curious about nature.

The jumbo chalk pencil and eraser is big fun.

This is new and improved sidewalk chalk fun. It looks like a big fat pencil. This jumbo pencil comes with three colored chalk inserts that can be stored under the detachable eraser. This jumbo chalk pencil is under $10.00 at Amazon.com for Christmas 2011 or from Toys to Grow On for just $7.95.

Recommended for preschoolers or kindergarteners that are learning to write or love to draw.

David Feldman's Imponderable books are perfect for teens.

Author David Feldman has an incredible series of books for ages 12 and up called the Imponderables. With titles like How Does Aspirin Find a Headache? and Do Penguins Have Knees? these fun books answers questions like just why do women open their mouths when they put on mascara? The Imponderables are around $12.95 each for from Toys to Grow on for Christmas 2011 or just $10.39 from Amazon.com.

Recommended for curious teens whether they love to read or are reluctant readers.
