Here's the list of the most unique places to stay in the United States:

10. Hana Lani (Hana, Hawaii) - This outdoor resort has no electricity and is lit up at night by a sequence of tiki torches and candles. For around $250-$400 a night you'll get a spectacular view of a wonderful flower farm and get to spend the night sleeping underneath the stars in the wonderful climate of Hawaii. This truly is a paradise.

9. Aurora Express (Fairbanks, Alaska) - It isn't the Polar Express but it will feel like it. You're surrounded in luxury and each morning you wake up to a different view and sleep like a child through the night as the train brings you around Alaska and its amazing views. For only $100 a night, this fantastic value and for an extra $50 you can have a whole car to yourself.

8. Dog Bark Park Inn (Cottonwood, Idaho) - You've all seen the pictures of the two-story beagle in rural Idaho, experience the night inside a dog and if you have to use the facilities, the bathroom is the large fire hydrant positioned conveniently right next to the dog. It costs less than $100 a night and its a great place to bring the whole family.

7. Wigwam Motel (Holbrook, Arizona) - For under $100 stay at one of Arizona's historic monuments. You get to sleep in giant teepees. If you can, try to get one that's further away from the road and while you're there get around to checking out the vintage cars that line the perimeter of the motel.

6. Beckham Creek Cave Haven (Beckham Creek, Arkansas) - A truly unique experience, spend the night surrounded by luxury and the walls of the cave. It's a great destination for outdoors men and women with hiking, fishing, and boating all available. If you can spare the $500 a night cost, it's an experience you can share with the whole family.

Caesars Pocono Resorts (Lakeville, Pennsylvania) - Normally when people want a unique experience they will go out of their way to find a one in a million spot, with a strange building or rich and mysterious history. Caesars offers one of the most romantic get aways around for around $400 a night. One of the best things they offer is a champagne glass jacuzzi that will make a great honeymoon spot!

The lighting gives it a whimsical feel and you won't want to leave your room and visit the museum that accompanies it. For well over $500 a night, you might have to be James Bond to stay there.
