It's been just a month since you slipped through our hands

Into the Heaven's, into God's loving arms I'm sure you did land

I look to the sky, more than once every day

Take everything I see and pray you show me the way

To carry on in this life without having you there

Hoping I can overcome the days that are so empty, I can not bear

Another lonely day without the sound of your voice

Living this life without you, would not have been my choice

If I hold on to my faith, then I know that it's true

You were never mine to keep, from the bible I knew

That we all reside here on earth for only mere borrowed time

Still makes no sense of it, no reason, no rhyme

I want to say thank you, for all that you are

The guidance and support you provided, whether we were near or far

I realize I am blessed and I know it be true

I would have never become the woman I am, if it hadn't been for you.
