The one who's there at the very beginning and even before I start
The one who will wipe my tears if I am crying alone in the dark
The person who is encouraging even when I miss the mark
The strongest person I've ever known
Through your prayers in God's image and likeness I've grown
With you by my side I have the strength to keep moving on
Your uplifting words allow my dreams to be reborn
I appreciate all that you've done
Your spirit travels with me as I face the rising sun
