Mother

Losing Your Mother

Stephanie R. Barry
Mother you gave birth to me,
You gave me these eyes,
To where I can see.

Mother I came,
Straight from your womb.
You were the one,
Lying in the hospital room.

Mother you gave me,
The pride I have.
You were there,
When I was sad.

Mother you were the lady,
Who took care of me.
Who gave me life,
And loved me dearly,

You were the one,
Who taught me discipline and love.
Straight from the heart,
Like a loving mother does.

You gave me the will power,
To want to succeed.
You were the one,
Yes mother,The one indeed.

Noone could ever take your place,
Within My heart.
You love and memory is here to stay,
My tribute to you is that I love you so,
Because you are why I am here,
And much much more.
