Mother Earth's Clothes

Daisy May
I took a nice long stroll today
in Hocking Hills State Park.
Hand in hand with my mate I went
until the light of day grew dark.
And on this walk we cleaned up
where man had left his mark.

All the litter man had left
because they didn't care
about preserving the pure beauty
that all of mankind must share.
Or of keeping clean the cloth
that Mother Earth must wear.

The cloth of Mother Nature
so more than mets the eye
from he smallest speck of dust
to the sunlight in the sky.
And every day we'll look to her beauty
until the very day we die.
