And her crafts
Hear the plants screams
Look at the grass.
Hear the trees cry
As Mankind scoffs
Laughs
As if
He had
Nothing to do with this.
Bitter surrender
Feel a trees' death
Look at its lines
Where it starts
Where it ends.
Watch the leaves fall
Not just in
Fall or autumn
But instead
All four seasons.
A bittersweet
Kiss and say goodbye
A weeds' tears
After endless years,
Wonders why
If others are still around
For Mother Nature;
Then why am I
No longer to be found?
A new twist:
No more rest areas
Will we need!
Not fond memories
Will this one bring.
That is because
Mother Nature is not forgiving.
She feels the grasses fierce heat,
She knows the Forest Parks dream
Will soon turn into
A towering inferno!
Without a warning, though
And quicker than Mother Nature...
Is mankind's reckless,
And carelessness behavior.
Stand by him if you dare.
Watch him
As his destruction
Causes worse damage
In our hemisphere.
He does not care.
Worse times ahead:
Man will not change.
He will find other ways
To bring in the pollution
That eventually will threaten
Our own evolution.
It is already past the time
For Trains, buses
Automobiles or carpools
Because why spend so much money
On transportation and Infrastructure
When the people
Will not be alive to buy
The products tomorrow?
One last attempt
Before we test fate:
Man knows that soon
It will be too late
So here are
His only choices left:
Electric cars
Or diesel fuel.
Only a fool
Would take
The latter,
Proving once again
To Mother Nature
That this stuff still
Did not matter.
Man's fate
Finally arrives
This time at his own front door.
He still ignores!
Hemisphere and ozone layer
Penetrated
Thus, causing new storms.
Ozone layer from the past
That used to protect our lives,
Now it ceases to exist.
Mankind still does not realize
There is no time left for dress rehearsal.
This time the emergence
Was of a different sort.
It came without an antidote.
We needed no war
To cause our end.
We just needed to follow
Mankind's thinking!
One would wonder why
No one has looked into this.
How can all just sit idly by
As Man eats away petroleum oil
Manipulates Supply and demand
When all this goes up
Into our skies.
Why do we let Man
Get away with this?
Why do not us
Ever think in advance
Perhaps better our chance
To stay in this land
And increase our odds
For us to survive?
Has anyone contemplated this?
The hole that we dig today
Will result
In tomorrow's sorrow.
The neglect we repeat today
Will create havoc and ruin tomorrow.
