When it comes to parenting there is no escaping the encouragements of better baby health. A mother offers a blueprint for that baby to follow most of his/her life. When pregnant you may start out small until your unborn baby decides to eat like there is no tomorrow. After birth, the baby tends to require the same demands naturally. So when does the belly become a barge? The proof is in the pudding, the chocolate pudding, the vanilla pudding and the rice pudding. The market if full of tempting items. If it weren't for the 2009 recalls of peanut butter, many mothers would be faced with a Mr. Peanut shape during and after giving birth. Although most know that peanut butter is healthy overall, it's the treats and sweets that offer such aftermath of fetus's sweet inner addiction.
Eating For Two?
The human brain works on desire. Sometimes the addictive side of the brain is known as the devil's playground, where temptations grow. Mix this with the words "you are eating for two" and pretty soon the devil's playground edits this tasty statement to "eating for ate", as in everything edible is past tense. Upon my first pregnancy, I was overthrown by "eating for two". I was small, tiny, low on iron, blowing in the breeze when the doctor suggested eating more. And that's all it took during the holidays to eat every thing in sight from blueberry pies mixed with apple sauce to chocolate candies and shakes of many sorted flavors. My son was almost 9 lbs. upon birth, compliments of poor habits during weight gain.
How To Lose The Mother Ship Shape
After giving birth compared to before hearing "you're pregnant", I gained over 80 pounds. And on the eighth day (of Armageddon) the medical world created diet pills. Diet pills are not a good suggestion due to not aiming baby fat, at least not mine from personal research. Slim Fast may work for some, but not me. I thought diet shakes would trick the devil's playground, but they tricked me to add more low-fat chocolate icecream due to poor taste. The days of rubbing my pants together while walking, having little energy and harboring a fat face had to end. So how did I lose that extra weight? There's a little place around the bend of the devil's playground called energy row.
You are what you eat. The sweets you eat result in a sweeter weight gain (sweeter in the sense of more). You can't get your exercise by running to the pizza place in the car. It just doesn't help with losing that baby fat. Motherhood requires mothers to be responsible, for now they are the givers of role model ways. Begin that healthy eating by purchasing vegetables and fruits. Now, you know that once you do, you should actually eat them. It usually takes 21 days to condition the human body when it comes to arranging or altering habits. For 21 days hack it out and make the change. You just went through nine months of bodily changes, you can do it for 3 short weeks, OK long, but only 3. If you do not change the bad foods for better foods you will not lose that baby fat as fast either. Once you have combined a good menu, you have movement to consider. Here are the couple of exercises that have helped me shed those unwanted pounds.
It's all in the jelly belly baby! Abdominal is where the tick begins when it comes to baby fat. It's time to give those abs a work out without killing yourself. So what's on television? Lost, Shimmy, or Biggest Loser? Standing up and exercising is rightfully boring, so lay down in sit up position and chill while viewing your favorite show. Once a commercial comes on, place your hands in a prayer position, laying them flat down on top of your belly right under your belly button. Lightly press ten times while breathing, hard, soft, hard, soft. You always want to breath, how else are you going to retrieve oxygen? Each commercial that passes, do another set of ten. After you have done this a couple days, step it up some and try to last throughout a full commercial (approximately two minutes). In one month, you should see a difference.
Are you just as tired as I was when the legs rub against each other? Take those legs for a spin, literally. At over 200 lbs., I appeared silly trying to squat, but not as funny coming up. Squats can burn baby fat, but you should consider taking these easy steps to not break your back over doing them. Take two chairs and sit the on each side of you. Make sure the chairs can hold your weight if you lose your balance. Use the sides of the chairs to reach down and pull up. An easy way to stray the fat. You should work up to 20 squats daily, five on four times of the day to even out the balance of exercise. After one month, you should see a difference. But what about that full face?
My face was so full, others backed up when I sneezed. The human face is quite misunderstood at times. Q: Will your face lose weight by smiling? A: No. Don't worry, be happy, it couldn't hurt to be positive while shedding off the baby fat. The face loses weight first, as the face gains weight first on the human body. It's what people look at first before the rest of their body since it is the first place to reflect a weight gain and loss. Do not misunderstand a potential health issue causing your face to gain or cave. If there are any health issues that may contribute to weight gain or cave, consult a doctor. However for the human face, once you begin exercising in time your face will reflect the results.
Taking a walk around the neighborhood helps as well. Start with small walks thirty minutes after a meal. If you walk right after a meal, you may be throwing up in the bushes down the road. You should work up to taking a total amount of one hour daily walks for four days. You can spread them apart into two thirty minutes walks a day if you wish to make it easier. Either way, after one month you should see a difference. "You should see a difference", but what is the difference?
If you add white to a color, what happens? No matter if the eye can't catch it, it still will be lighter in color after introduced. So anything helps even if you can't see it right away. Weight climbs at times for some that do not notice or actually see the weight difference. And as the white paint mix, there's still a difference. We've covered mommy, but what about the baby that gains too much weight after birth?
Big Baby!
The babies that are born to drink milk out of a jug will have baby weight gain. First, take it down a notch if your doctor suggests such a technique to maintain a healthy weight for your baby. Milk can be turned over to water in time, lite juices or other healthy drinks. Once your baby notices the change from total milk to other drinks, give them a little time to adjust. The next best thing other than dinner time would be play time with the kids.
Have your baby active at mind and body. Keep their interests flowing by playing with them. Move their little legs, arms, toes and fingers. Motherhood requires such a responsible act for the better health of a child. Take the baby out to a park and give them fresh oxygen by doing so. Once you change the daily routines to match something of this nature, you should see a difference after one month. Just keep up the good work mothers, for motherhood relies on hard work to maintain baby weight for baby's better health.

Wonderful article. I was so lucky in this department. Most I ever weighed at nine months and delivery was 132 pounds; shortly after birth I was back down to my very skinny 115 pounds. After two major surgeries in my thirties is when I started putting on the weight; then old age set in. I'm now up to 145 and it's hard too lose.
