Mother's Day Brunch at the Dallas Fairmont

Every year for Mother's Day the Dallas Fairmont hotel puts on an incredible brunch buffet. It's become something of a tradition for me to treat mom and my wife to this yearly feast.

This year the cost is $78 per adult. While that may seem a bit steep, it's cheaper than you would typically pay for a fancy steak dinner at an upscale restaurant. The variety and excellence of the food served at the Dallas Fairmont Mother's Day Brunch is heavenly. As you enter the ball room, you see formally set tables around the massive perimeter, and the center is lined with rows of tables laden with salads, sea food, pastas, breakfast fare, roast beef, and on and on it goes. Chefs are stationed at multiple points to prepare custom omelets or carve slabs of meat for you.

Beverages are top notch at this event, you can start your meal with a mimosa or have some of the wonderfully rich and smooth coffee that I've only been able to find at this event. The servers have never given in to my attempts to bribe them out of the secret to the Fairmont's coffee, but it's like no other.

Take mom to the early service at church this Mother's Day and then treat her like the queen of the family she is at the Dallas Fairmont.
