Mother's Day Cupcakes

This article is about Mother's Day Cupcakes. This used to be a tradition in my family when we were young.

We always bought boxed cake mix and made cupcakes out of them for Mother's Day. We would always make them the day of Mother's Day too not the day before so they would be fresh for our mother.

Me and my sister would always help our grandmother to make these cupcakes for our mother on Mother's Day.

After the cupcakes we done from the oven, me and my sister would make little decorations on top of the cupcakes.

We would make just Happy Mother's Day on the top of them, we would also try to make a picture of our mother on top of the cupcakes as well.

When we were done decorating the cupcakes for our mother, we would always surprise her with these very creative cupcakes. We thought they were creative when we were young.

The look on her face when she saw them was priceless. She always loved them no matter how ridiculous they looked. It is always the thought that counts not the decorative cupcakes.

She always loved them no matter what they looked like.

That was the joy of Mother's Day for our family and our tradition. Hopefully you can share this tradition with your family in the future. It is not much for Mother's Day, but it is the thought that counts. Homemade things are always better than bought things.
