In Los Angeles: A Tribute to Women

Like in the years past, Landmark Entertainment Production is hosting its annual Mother's Day Event, a Tribute to Women, "the event that treats every women like a queen," on Saturday, May 8^th, 2010 beginning at 7PM.

As in the past, this event is a "Black and White, Gold or Silver Attire Affair." You are encouraged to dress to impress, but wear comfortable shoes, as there will be Dance! Dance! Dance!

The location for this grand event is Radisson Hotel -LAX, located at 6225 W Century Blvd in Los Angeles, CA 90045.

It will be a night filled with entertainment, where several entertainers including Nollywood (Nigerian version of Hollywood) stars, and some world-renowned dancers will do their thing. There will be appearances by former American Idol contestant Chikezie, and many others.

I have been to this event in the past and it was awesome. We had great food, great music selections from a renowned DJ. The ambiance was great (Hollywood Park & Casino Ballroom) and you can be sure this year's will be even better (Radisson LAX). Each woman was treated like a queen indeed, with each taking a red-carpet walk to be greeted by a Hollywood star that then gave each woman a single red rose. It was such a beautiful and fun experience and I can't wait to go again.

In Eagle Rock: A Family Affair for Moms

If you want a whole family event, you can gather with your children to look at 20 different vendors including Cookie Lee jewelers on Saturday, April 24^th, 2010 from 10:00-4:00PM. This event will take place at the Eagle Rock Recreation Center, which is located at 1100 Eagle Vista Dr, Los Angeles, Ca 90041. This is a free event, all you need is some money to buy your mothers beautiful jewelries, enjoy homemade goods, and more. There will be raffles every hour. In La Canada: Mother's Day Brunch

You can take mom for a delectable buffet style brunch at Descanso in La Canada. Enjoy the outdoor environment, with seating at 9 and 10:30AM, and 12:00 and 1:30PM.
