Mothers Day for expectant moms is a wonderful time. Even though the baby may not be born yet, it is considered by many to be the pregnant moms very first Mothers Day. If you are the family or friends of an expectant mom, this will be a day that you will not want to overlook. Giving the right gift for an expectant mother on mother's day will add to her joy. Here are some ideas you can use.

Give the expectant mom the gift of comfort for Mothers Day. Purchase items that will provide comfort for the expectant mom throughout her pregnancy. A body pillow will help her sleep during those long nights. A foot massager will soothe her tired feet at the end of a long day. On the less expensive side, a package of pink tennis can be used to give her soothing back massages.

Give the expectant mom the gift of beauty for Mothers Day. Purchase facial scrubs, moisturizing lotions, and soothing creams for stretch marks. While moms skin needs all the help if can get during the trying times of pregnancy, it is probably the last thing she is thinking about.

Give the expectant mom the gift of cleanliness for Mothers Day. Expectant mothers love to make sure their homes as spotless for the new arrival. Hire a cleaning service to help her get the job done. You can hire a one time thorough cleaning or a weekly service to get her through the remainder of the pregnancy and even through the first few months after the baby is born.

Give the expectant mom the gift of humor for Mothers day. Purchase humorous books and movies that will ensure that she spends some time with her feet up, laughing. Some titles you will want consider are Father of the Bride II, or Driving Under the Influence of Children.

Give the expectant mom the gift of decadence for Mothers Day. A basket full of rich chocolates or a freezer full of her favorite ice cream. Whatever she loves to indulge herself with, buy a ton of it. She deserves it more now than ever.

Whatever you give the expectant mom for Mothers Day, just be sure that the gift is specifically for the mother, and not the baby. While she will love receiving gifts for the baby on any other day, on Mothers Day, be sure to remember that is all about the mom.
