Mother's Day Gifts Under $30

Cassie Mae
Manicure: Give your mother a gift certificate to a local beauty salon that gives manicures. Most manicures are under $30.00 on natural nails. I only paid $20.00 for my last French manicure on my natural nails. What a wonderful way for some relaxing time for a mother. She will feel good about herself with pretty nails.

Set of shower gel, lotion, and glycerin soap. Avon has cheap gift packs for reasonable prices as do most local discount stores. You can find an Avon representative in your area by looking online. Choose all different scents. Mix & match, but I prefer my shower gel and lotion to be the same to use together.

Softest socks ever at Bath & Body! I have never felt a more plush sock. I tell my friends I feel like I am walking on clouds! These socks are for lounging around home as they are too thick to wear with shoes. The socks are $6.00 and come in pink, red, and white. Buy a foot tub for $3.00 to $12.00 through Avon. Throw a bottle of your mothers' favorite bubble bath or scented foot soak (Avon carries) in the sock and you have a comforting gift. Bubble bath found at all discount stores.

Another great Mother's Day gift is a gift certificate from your mother's favorite restaurant. Put the gift certificate in a loving Mother's Day card and tell her you want to go to lunch with her. Enjoy your special time together.

Buy a photo album that has a space for words next to the photos. You can find these types of photo albums at Wal-Mart or Target. Put in your children's photos and fun family function photos. Include your mother's photos and give the gift of memories to your mother. Wrap the album in a pretty bow.

Give your mother a gift certificate for a local movie theatre. Buy the gift certificate to include at least another person's ticket, money for a large soda, large popcorn and even some movie theatre candy.

It is spring time! People start watching their calories to look their best for summer. Buy your mother a large pretty basket at Target. The day before Mother's Day go to the local grocery store and find fresh fruit. Splurge and buy new fruits that most people do not buy. Red pears are so delicious but expensive. I do not like pears but red pears I love! Buy a fruit dip, carmel or make your own recipe to go with the healthy basket.

For a Mother's Day gift bright new kitchen towels, wash cloths, and candles (especially floral or spring lemon scented) would make a lovely Mother's Day gift to cheer up her kitchen. Kohls and Target have some good quality towels and wash cloths for reasonable prices. Candles you may find at Kohls, Target, ShopKo and Wal-Mart in all types of styles.

For a unique Mother's Day gift call your county park or go online and buy your mother a county park sticker. She can go hiking in many of the parks immediately. Swimming and boating in the summer. Photo taking in the autumn. Inside of her Mother's Day card write: Family picnic this summer. If you can, choose a date for the festivity. Mother will know another special family day is coming!

If your mother attends church, go with her. Then take her out to a nice restaurant for brunch. Give her the day off from cooking! Also, hand her one long stemmed rose or a carnation in a vase. Or you may give her an orchid to wear while out for her special day. Flowers you may find at a local floral shop or most grocery stores.
