Mother's Day is coming up soon and you may need that special quote, saying or written phrase that will help convey your love and affection for your mother. Have no fear because there are many Web sites that can give you that great group of words.

Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May, according to Wikipedia. Of course you should be good and decent to your mother and every mother in your household all the year long. If you don't, make sure you are extra nice to your mother or the mother of your children on Mother's Day.

Most of us do not have the words to adequately convey our strong feelings toward our mothers or the mother of our children. But Mother's Day comes around every year and we need to do something special.

Many people buy flowers for their mother's on Mother's Day and most mothers appreciate the flowers. Others take their mothers out for a special dinner celebration, maybe to a favorite restaurant. And of course children all over the world try to call their mothers on Mother's Day.

If you can only buy a card to send to your mother, try and take the time to write something special and sincere in the card, something from the heart. Many people rely on Hallmark.com to provide the right words in the right sequence for this wonderful holiday and this company does a great job, but sometimes it takes too much time and effort to find the right words or sentences.

But why not try and find the words that you feel are right to convey your love for your mother, or your appreciation for the mother of your kids? There are many Web sites where you can find great holiday quotes, sayings, expressions and holiday phrases and many of these can make people laugh and smile.

Here are a few suggestions where you can find free holiday quotations which you can use for the inside of a blank holiday card, be it Mother's Day, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter or any other holiday or celebration that is partaken by your household.

One really cool and useful Web site for holiday quotations and phrases is quotegarden.com. These quotes are mostly from famous people from the past, but there are many quotes where the author is unknown. These sayings are great for all of the holidays listed on the Web site.

Another great online site for phrases for Mother's Day or other holidays is phrases.org.uk. In addition to phrases and quotations, this site has an area for the meanings of phrases and sayings.

Lastly, make sure to check out just-quotes.com for a wide variety of quotes, sayings and phrases which can be used in holiday cards. These holiday quotations come from historical figures as well as from contemporary famous people.

Have lots of fun on Mother's Day and treat the mother in your life like she deserves to be treated. After all, a mother's work is never done. Happy Mother's Day.

Very good ideas. It's always best to write cards by hand. It shows it comes from the heart when the time is taken to find and write the perfect sayings and quotes. Thanks!

Very good. In the UK Mothers Day is 4 weeks before Easter. When I was living in the USA I used to have to buy a card for my Mom the previous May, then remember where I put it the following year.
