Mother's Day Poem

Ted Sherman
Mother, I owe my everything to you,
Since the moment you gave me life.
You were always there to stand with me,
Through times of troubles and of strife.

Your arms were warm to comfort me,
Whenever I faltered or lost my way.
I could count on you to understand,
And brighten up each cloudy day.

Knowing your love is still with me,
Makes my life a gift so blessed.
Beyond this day we mark each year,
I'll always know that you're the best.
