Mother's Taffy Cookies - Product Review

Candus
My sister in law recently took me on a trip to the coast and she had stopped and picked up some snacks for us. In the mixture of all the goodies she bought was a bright colored packaged of cookies. She quickly let me know those cookies are off limits for they were her favorite. Those cookies are made by Mother's and the flavor is Taffy.

I had to try them to see what all the fuss was about. I must admit my first bite of these small cookies stuff with vanilla cream had me wanting more. My sister in law told me they were costly around $4.00 dollars a pack but that she did buy them from time to time.

I found them at The Grocery Outlet in The Dalles Oregon area and they were only $2.00 dollars a pack. I also grabbed up four packs of their other varieties to see how they tasted as well. They make chocolate and taffy and vanilla.

These cookies are square and have a taste of coconut in them. They also are made with sugar, milk, corn syrup among some other items. Mother's has been in business since 1914 and continues to make cookies that we fall in love with.

With these cookies you get two cookies per serving and 180 calories. Your total fat is 8 grams and 4 grams of saturated fat. The trans fats in these taffy cookies are 1.5 grams but there is no cholesterol in these cookies.

With Mother's taffy cookies you'll bite into a crunchy square cookie stuffed with thick white vanilla icing that melts in your mouth. With 125 mg of sodium and 27 grams of carbohydrates you'll also get 1 gram of protein and sugar is 16 grams.

You need nothing else to go along with these cookies but maybe a cold glass of milk. Try them for yourself and watch how quick this 16 ounce package disappears. These cookies are distributed by Kellogg Sales Co and you can reach them by phone at 1-877-453-5837.

You can also find out more about the other types of cookies Mother's make and you can log on to motherscookies.com. I can tell you taffy and vanilla and the chocolate ones are the best.
