Motion-Activated Headphones: Sony Does it Again

Headphones were basic noise blockers when I was growing up. Kids my age mainly used them during late-night hours or when our parents would yell at us for having our music too loud. They were large, bulky and nothing that special. This is no longer the case because of portable music players. Headphones are now stylish and users are always looking for the best of the best. I can proudly say that I am one of those consumers and that I believe I have just found the best. Let me introduce to you the Motion Activated Headphones MH907.

Sony Ericsson just released these headphones a few months back. There was a lot of interest amongst us techno geeks on how this equipment would work and how awesome they truly could be. The truth discovered about these headphones is that they are unlike any ordinary headphone on the market today. Not only do they provide the user with great sound quality that is always associated with Sony, it's motion features are both unique and irreplaceable once you are introduced to them.

A quick test use of this product showed me quite a bit. Let us pretend that you are using a set of these headphones this exact moment. You are listening to the newest Black Eyed Peas song but hear the phone ring. Instead of having to reach into your pocket and turn the music device off, all you have to do is pull one of the headphones out of your ear. The simple motion will activate the device to pause. Then, in order to restart that awesome song, all you have to do is place the headphone back into your ear. Now that is neat.

Currently, the headphones are only Sony Ericsson compatible. This is the only annoyance about these headphones that I have. This will most likely certainly change once a competitor comes to the market with similar technology. Once these headphones can be universally used amongst mobile music devices, you will see the market explode.

The Sony Erricson Motion Activated Headphones MH907 are stylish and comfortable. They fit in your ear perfectly and provide you with the ability to pause and stop music without touching your portable devices. It can be used on music devices, cell phones, or portable gaming devices. The ability to pull out one of the headphones to stop what you are doing for a second is truly neat. It is now available on the market and is a must have for anyone that currently owns a Sony Erricson device. If you do not, just hold out until the competition comes out with something similar or even better.
