Motorola RAZR V3: To Buy or Not to Buy? That is the Question.

Gina
Almost everyone you see on the street has a Motorola RAZR V3. The sleek, smooth and thin phone that doesn't take up space. You see this phone and you definitely want to have your hands on it. After you get over how the phone look, you then start to wonder is it worth the money. Read this review and make that decision on your own.

The RAZR V3 in the looks department is very pretty. Its smooth, thin and when you flip it up it really looks like a razor and you can cut someone with if you make the wrong move. I love that it comes in a range of colors like magenta, pink, and gold (the new color).

I love that this phone can fit so neatly in my purse or pocket and will not bulge out like most phones do. The only thing with the physical aspect of the phone is that you have to get use to the width of it especially if you have small hands it can become a bit clumsy.

The software of the phone, I really do not like some parts of it. In my opinion the phonebook needs a lot of work. In this day in age most people have more than one number (house, cell phone, pager, etc.). In the phonebook for the Motorola when you put in the person's name and their numbers you put it all in one spot, but once you save it comes out Name1, Name2, and Name3.

Its all for the same person. I found that to be a bit annoying. I hope that in future phones they will fix that. It is also quite sensitive to being dropped at times. The phone will freeze and you have to take out the battery so it can restart.

As for the camera, I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love the fact that you can zoom in and out. You can also fix the exposure (lighting) of the camera to make sure that your pictures come out perfect. I just don't like that after like one drop, the camera goes fuzzy. I really don't like that after awhile the pictures you already have taken in the past go fuzzy too but that could be normal for any camera. I do not know to be honest.

Despite all its downfall I have grown to love the RAZR V3. I love the Bluetooth capabilities so I don't have to hold the phone at all. I also love that you can talk for hours on this phone and it will not die. I can talk about 4 straight hours or a little more before it will completely shut down. I also love how the buttons are flat and they light up so if you ever in a dark place you can still use your phone.

All in all you decide whether or not you should buy this phone. I for one will not miss it once I get a new phone. Even though, so many people have it, you could truly do with out it. Unless it fixes some of the problems, it would get an A but as for it right now it will get a C+. In today's world some would take it, as it is better to have had an RAZR V3 then not at all.

I had this phone for some time and I wouldn't take it if they were giving it to me for free.
You can get less expensive phones that do more and are a better quality (surprising cause Motorola usually puts out great products).
