Mountain Hardwear Hooded Sweatshirt Review

The Mountain Hardwear Hooded sweatshirt happens to be one of the most prized possessions I have in my wardrobe. Not only is it stylish to the core, with its generous sleeve folds, high neckline and snug hood, but it is comfortable and durable as well.

The fabric is extremely soft on skin and gives you an out of world experience of coziness. In fact the feel is true to its name of 'butter cloth' which makes it suitable for cold and dry conditions. Not only this, the sanding effect on the fabric imparts it an invariably fluffy look and feel. It is so trendy and yet so durable and warm that I can not only use it as a perfect camping sweatshirt but also as an impressive evening wear which can be comfortably paired with my favorite pair of denims.

The only thing that I could complain about would be its price. Well, I find it a bit too highly priced. In fact, although I loved it at the first sight considering the look and feel of it, the price tag was the only thing that made me think twice.

Also, I would love to have a few more color options in the same style. As it has a pretty attractive and smart silhouette, bright and vibrant colors like burgundy red, turquoise and emerald green would look amazing. Even I would like to have a few more color options of the same style that might go for a lot many occasions.

The sizing of the Mountain Hardwear Hoodie sweatshirt appears to be perfect for me, the shoulders sit perfectly and so is the chest measurement. The raglan style sleeves not only add to its style but also make it extremely comfortable at the biceps. However, the body seems a bit too big compared to my torso.

Also, I would not mind if the sleeve hems had a rib finish which would not only look sporty but would give a tighter appearance at the wrists. The same can be applied at the bottom hem as well so that it does hang loosely at the waist. There is also a problem that I face while layering it as it is very difficult to layer in neat folds.

But otherwise I find the Mountain Hardwear Hoodie sweatshirt very satisfactory considering that it is breathable. In spite of its wicking abilities, it dries very quickly and with its lightweight, cozy feel leaves me quite relaxed and comfortable.
