Mountain Sun Opening New Denver Location

Boulder, Colorado's Mountain Sun Pub & Brewery will open a new location in Denver's City Park West neighborhood, near the Thin Man bar. Scheduled to open in April 2008 at 1700 Vine St., it will feature fresh draft beer and homemade food with an emphasis on local ingredients.

Rumors had attributed the renovation efforts to a venture named Vine St. Pub, that was to serve a vegetarian menu in addition to drinks and the usual bar fare. Mountain Sun has since announced its first restaurant / brewpub in Denver with a new sign at the 17th Street & Vine location.

According to Denver Dude's sources, Mountain Sun Denver will keep 21 beers on tap. It will have a similar menu to the Mountain Sun and Southern Sun locations, with an emphasis on healthy salads, sandwiches, and burgers.

Denver Dude is a big fan of the Tempeh Reuben and the entire Beer Menu, particularly the Illusion Dweller IPA.
