Readers of all ages are taking sides... Team Edward or Team Jacob? Stephenie Meyer has taken an enormous bite out of the market with her #1 bestselling Twilight series of books. Twilight is the first in the series, followed by New Moon, Eclipse, and the soon to be released, Breaking Dawn.

Meyer's series of four books is being compared to the magic that J.K. Rowling created with Harry Potter. But the magic in this case occurs from the eyes and heart of 18 year old Bella Swan and her first, perfect love. And Edward Cullen certainly is perfect from almost every angle. With one exception, he's a vampire.

The story takes place in the small town of Forks,Washington. Shortly after her move to Forks, Bella finds herself caught between her love for Edward and a love that could potentially be with her best friend, Jacob Black. But Jacob has a secret of his own that Bella has sworn to keep and which makes him Edward's natural enemy.

Meyer's saga truly brings you into the heart of these characters and their emotional struggles during their teenage years and with their extraordinary circumstances. Young adults are captivated while adults are reminiscent. Each of these books hold it's own captivating storyline, yet leads you running to the bookstore for the next in the series. They are intriguing, captivating, romantic, and adventurous.

Breaking Dawn, the last in this series of four spectacular novels, is due to be released on August 1st. The series has become so popular and attracted so much interest, that some Barnes & Noble stores are staying open late and hosting midnight release parties for this newest release where you can expect to see an array of vampire attire.

Like Rowling's 7th book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Meyer's Breaking Dawn is sure to be the highlight and provide answers to all of our questions that have been building since book one. Truly a captivating romance and magnificent adventure.

this is stupid. Twilight has a poor story, it's not real, everything always works out in the end, LIVE IS NOT THAT GOOD! and Bella is boring. Harry Potter as the edge, of course, it keeps you hooked, you can't stop reading and it's really good writing!

The title of this article is intended to mean to "make room at the top of the list for another great book series". It's not intended to mean that Twilight is better than Harry Potter. I love them both!
