Gabriel Iglesias brings his own brand of comedy to his latest Comedy Central special in this hour plus routine filmed in El Paso. Gabriel is the next generation of great ethnic comedians following in the footsteps of Paul Rodriguez who is also Gabriel's idol.

Gabriel does a great job not only hitting punch lines and telling some tear inspiring laughs but impersonations and sound effects are also a specialty. Gabriel uses his size as a mainstay of his comedy as well as his nickname of Fluffy which inspired his saying I'm Not Fat, I'm Fluffy.

Gabriel Iglesias was actually thrown off of Last Comic Standing due to not following the contest rules which really brought him more popularity and exposure. That was the first time I saw him and was happy to review this album even though I did not realize I had seen him before.

Gabriel's routine is an hour long and the extras include a 20 minute routine that was not included as part of the special for some unknown reason. The routine starts with the usual welcome and apology for not returning to EL Paso sooner and continues nonstop with hilarious jokes and stories.

Gabriel's subjects include his idol, a gift from Nickelodeon, puberty, his voices, Obama, his USO trip to Iraq, gift cakes and of course more food. He stays in the almost politically correct zone but does cross it a few times but not in any way that offends or would upset anyone.

This is the kind of routine that even though there is a few, very few, swear words and graphic descriptions he does a fantastic job of entertaining with his comedy. I find that too often comedians try and use the shock value of swear words and explicate content to get laughs and it usually falls flat with me.

I love Gabriel's routine as he hits that just funny but totally realistic and true life comedy that is really funny. Gabriel does a fantastic job with his comedy and uses his own stature and life to add to his jokes which you know are true, making them even funnier.

Gabriel has a bright and sunny disposition and ends up infecting his audience with his good nature and can really entertain without having to revert to explicit stuff. Gabriel's routine is hilarious from beginning to end and includes the 20 minutes that were not included in the main concert.

You also get a few other extras including the warm up routines from fellow comedians Martin Moreno and Noe Gonzalez which are great but not quite up to par with Gabriel. The other bonus content is a question and answer with fans after the show which is just as funny as his regular routine.

Gabriel Iglesias is a fantastic comedian and his newest Comedy Central special I'm Not Fat... I'm Fluffy is a great show and well worth the cost. Don't even bother with a rental here as I can guarantee that this is a definite keeper and will have you laughing time and again.

Gabriel Iglesias: I'm Not Fat... I'm Fluffy is a definite winner and does a great job at entertaining, this is a must have for any entertainment collection.
