Movie Review: Labor Pains (2009)

Thea Clayhill (Lindsay Lohan) is about to lose her position as secretary to a very cranky publisher (Chris Parnell) so she lies about being pregnant to save her job.

Is this a comedy or drama? Well, I couldn't really tell since it is short on laughs and has the dramatic suspense of a dead ant. Or perhaps thats being too kind to a dead ant. Labor Pains does succeed as being run-of-the-mill, predictable and extremely flat. Lindsay Lohan is good as Thea Clayhill but one has to ask what she was on when she signed onto do this boring, after-school special.

Labor Pains had its world premiere on ABC Family.
