"The Love Guru" was probably one of the wierdest, so boring it was interesting, dumb AND funny movies that I have ever seen. Lucky for the producers, they had a cast of characters that made the movie a little more interesting including Mike Myers, Jessica Alba, Mini Me and Justin Timberlake. If they had not had more interesting, popular or good looking characters this movie may have done even worse. "The Love Guru" had scenes and dialogue that I had never experienced or seen in any movie. They was a lot of talk about poop, privates, race, what goes on between husband and wifre, and more things of that nature. I was very suprised to see that this movie was only rated PG-13, because it seemed that it was a lot more innapropriate than that. No matter what may have been said or previewed about this movie and it being funny and "family friendly", it was most definently not! I am sure that if I had maybe watched it five more times (probably more though) I may start to like it. The movie was very colorful and had a couple of musical numbers. But it seemed to give a super false and bad representation of India, where the Love Guru was from. This movie will also make you wonder how different the world would be if the Love Guru actually existed, because in the movie the Love Guru, the Love Guru is shown as a man who knows everything about love and he holds seminars that people can attend at his house. There is a scene with Jessica Simpson after one of these seminars that is super odd and will make you feel wierd. The ending of the movie is the best part, like many movies, because everything just seems to come together, but throughout the movie, you will want the movie to end.
Do whatever you want, but in my opinion, don't go and see this movie because it is a waste of time (no offense) unless you really have nothing else to do and there are no other movies to be seen.
