Movie Review: The Wedding Dat

If you want an adorable romantic comedy please buy The Wedding Date, a twist on the Pretty Woman idea. It doesn't matter how many times I watch it... it is still one of my favorites! It stars Debra Messing, of Will & Grace and The Starter Wife fame, as Kat Ellis. Kat is attending the wedding of her younger sister and determined to bring a date. She wants to show up her ex-fiance who will be in attendance, so she resorts to finding a last-minute escort who is not the typical date one brings to a wedding. Dermit Mulroney stars as Nick, the actual wedding date whose dashing good looks and charm win over her family and friends instantly. His charm works more slowly on Kat but starts to warm her up to him.

The movie is filled with unexpected twists and endless laughs. You might think you know the connections between characters but they are constantly surprising you with their interactions and history. The supporting cast is hilarious, especially Kat's cousin. Its easy to hate Kat's younger sister but they role is well played as are all the supporting characters in The Wedding Date.

The Wedding Date is definitely worth owning if you do not already own it. If you are interested in buying The Wedding Date it can be purchased at any of these great websites:
