Everybody loves going to the movies, and movie theaters are something that just about every town has. A place like Daytona Beach boasts several quality movie theaters, but sometimes it can be hard which one to choose. That's why I have compiled a list of the top five movie theaters here in Daytona Beach, Florida.
- Ocean Walk Cinema. This movie theater is quite popular because it is as its name implies-right on the ocean walk. This is a charming beachside movie theater and a great place to catch a movie. Plus, it's located at 250 North Atlantic Avenue Suite 201 and is a part of the Ocean Walk shopping plaza. Therefore, you can eat and shop in this three-story mall like plaza as well, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. It costs about seven to ten bucks a person and usually plays only at night, and it offers stadium seating.
- Six Theatre. This movie theater is located at 1015 Eagle Lake Trail. It's a smaller theater, however it's still really good. The biggest plus to this theater is that it's cheaper than most of the other ones in Daytona. It only cost six dollars a ticket. Plus, they offer matinees as well. However, it doesn't offer stadium seating, which is a must for some patrons.
- AMC Volusia Square 8 Theater. This theater is located at 2455 W. International Speedway Boulevard and is a popular theater simply because of its location. It's close to the Volusia mall, all the shopping plazas, many restaurants and eateries, and the Daytona racetrack. Plus, it's pretty nice too. It has great decorations and stadium seating as well. The prices are about like the other theaters in Daytona, seven to ten dollars. Plus, it offers matinees too.
- Regal Cinemas. It seems like many places have a theater named Regal Cinemas, and Daytona is no exception to that. This theater is nice also. It's located on 215 North Williamson Boulevard and likely won't be as crowded as the theaters on the main roads, International Speedway Boulevard and A1A. This is the perfect theater for people who don't want to be in as much traffic. Plus, it offers matinees and normal price ranges. However, there aren't stadium seats in all the theaters here. Sometimes you'll get one and sometimes you won't.
- Act One Theater. This theater is on 331 Bill France Boulevard and it's open every day of the week. This is another smaller theater that is very crowded or extremely expensive. Everything here is very reasonably priced. Plus, it's offer nice commodities as well and stadium seating. Plus, they even offer some Indie films for people who don't really care for the new releases.
All of these theaters are great places to catch a movie in Daytona Beach. Plus, they're all open every day of the week and aren't too expensive. And some of them even offer matinees.
