Movie Theaters in Deland, FL

Small Town Big Screens

Paisley Raven
After growing up in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas Metroplex, moving to a small town like Deland, Florida called for some major adjustments. The few months I lived in Orlando didn't help. I was shocked to see stores, malls, and restaurants closed at 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights!

Moving to Deland saved me from the bewilderment of Orlando, but just barely. You can find just about everything you need in town. There is even a twenty-four hour Super Wal-Mart.

One of the things I loved about living in a big city was how easy it was to find something to do. On any given day, I could eat out, order in, or find a movie. Deland can easily boast of a good selection of movie theaters in and around town.

Overall, the Deland area theaters number 250, with 2,438 screens between them. The average price of a ticket is $7.91, and 56 of these theaters provide an online ticket purchasing option.

At 35, I've come quite a long way from the first time I saw AC. I'm still writing, but more fiction than anything. Always learning & looking!  View profile
