My favorite movie theater in Los Angeles, California is the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood. The ArcLight is more of an entertainment complex than just a movie theater. This Los Angeles movie theater has a café and bar, a gift shop, and a snack bar. The ArcLight is very modern and the lobby is truly eye-catching, with the ArcLight's Cinerama Dome. The movies and show times are listed on a giant display that reminds me of the train listings at Grand Central Station in New York. You can actually reserve specific seats at the ArcLight, so you won't have to worry about not finding a seat. This Los Angeles movie theater uses state of the art technology to bring moviegoers the best in audio and video. In addition, the ArcLight has exhibits about movies and filmmakers, so you can keep yourself entertained before or after your show. The ArcLight is located at 6360 West Sunset Boulevard, between Vine and Ivar. Look for signs for parking around Sunset and Ivar. The ArcLight will validate parking with the purchase of a movie ticket. With validation, it will cost you about $2 to park for up to four hours. For more information on ArcLight Cinemas, you can reach them by phone at (323) 464-1478, or on the internet at www.arclightcinemas.com.
Another great movie theater is the The Bridge Cinema de Lux, which is located at 6081 Center Drive in Los Angeles, California. The phone number for this movie theater is (310) 568-3375, or you can find them on the internet at www.thebridgecinema.com. The Bridge Cinema de Lux has a bar and restaurant that is called 12 Lounge. In addition, this Los Angeles movie theater has a coffee bar, so you can get a little caffeine before those boring movies that your significant other forces you to see. The Bridge Cinema de Lux also has an Imax theater, which is very cool.
AMC Theatres has a movie theater, called the AMC Century City 15, that is located at 10250 Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. As the name implies, this movie theater has fifteen screens, so there are always several movies to choose from. You can find out show times for AMC Century City 15 by calling (310) 289-4AMC, or by checking them out online at www.amctheatres.com.
These are just a few of my favorite movie theaters in Los Angeles. I like these theaters because they are very nice and have multiple screens, so there are always a lot of movies to choose from. To get information on other movie theaters in Los Angeles, check out www.fandango.com. Enjoy the show.
