Action Movies Highlight the Summer

Individuals might be talking about the release of these movies for some time to come. The summer of 2011 might rival some of the historic summer releases of the past. This article looks at just ten of the movies to be released this summer.

June 3; X-Men First Class
This is a prequel to the first three movies. It also has a new director in Matthew Vaughn. It stars Kevin Bacon, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy. The beginning of the mutant series.

June 10; Fast Five
It is the fifth movie from "The Fast and Furious" series. It stars Vin Diesel and Dwayne (the Rock) Johnson.

June 17; The Green Lantern
This DC movie has been in the making for several years. It stars Ryan Reynolds, as the ring wearing Green Lantern. It also stars Tim Robbins.

June 24; Rise of the Apes
This is a prequel to the 1968 movie "Planet of the Apes." This movie stars Oscar host James Franco. Genetic engineering leads to the rise of advanced intelligent apes.

June 24; Transformers 3
Movie star Shia LaBeouf claims that this one will be better than Transformers 2. Victoria Secrets Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replaces Megan Fox.

July 15; (Part 2) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Potter fans the wait is over. It is hard to believe but, Harry Potter has now been with us for 10 years. We have watched these stars grow up together.

July 22; Captain America
The Marvel comic book feature stars Chris Evans as the Nazi fighting Steve Rogers. Women will love the bare chest on this guy.

July 29; Cowboys and Aliens
Sci-Fi meets the Wild West. This could end up being a classic. It stars Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. Steven Spielberg and Ron Howard help produce.

July 29; Crazy Stupid Love
This comedy could be the sleeper of the summer. It has a common story line that doesn't fall flat. It stars Steve Carell, Bryan Gosling and Julianne Moore. A father's life unravels while he deals with a marital crisis and tries to manage his relationship with his children.

August 26; Destination 5
Stars Emma Bell and David Koechner. Death is still chasing individuals across the screen with new special effects. This could be this movies final destination itself.

There are many other great movies coming out. These appear to be the best. My best pick would be "Cowboys and Aliens."
