The majority of these movies start with woman meeting man of her dreams, falling deep in love only to one day to wake up thinking, "how did I get myself into this?"

The majority of this women have to learn to empower themselves in order to break free of these dangerous men. I have only came up with eight movies...can you come up with the last two? Give me your input.

1. What's Love Got to Do With It?.....Angela Bassett, Laurence Fishburne: film about singer Tina Turner and how she rose to stardom with her abusive husband Ike Turner and how she gained the courage to break free.

2. Sleeping With The Enemy.....Julia Roberts, Patrick Bergin: Laura and Martin appear to be a happy successful couple. The truth is Martin is an abusive obsessive husband. She finally plans her escape and leaves, but is this the end of the abuse?

3. Enough....Jennifer Lopez, Bill Campbell: A woman discovers the dream man she married isn't who he pretended to be. She and her daughter try to escape his abuse, but he pursues her relentlessly. How will she escape this horror?

4. The Burning Bed.....Farrah Fawcett, Paul Le Mat: Abused battered wife has had enough of husband beating up on her. Everywhere she turns for help, there's not much anyone will do. So she decides to fight back when he's asleep.

5. The Color Purple....Oprah Winfrey, Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg: This film follows the life of Celie, a young black girl growing up in the 1900's. This movie depicts her life, including the abuse she received from her father and husband.

6. Dead By Sunset....Ken Olin, Annette O'Toole, Lindsay Frost: A successful doctor marries an extremely handsome and charming banker, she thought was wonderful, and she fell for him instantly. She didn't know that the man she fell in love with was a evil, abusive manipulator who hated women and constantly terrorized his dead wife, mother of his children on a regular basis. When his wife and mother of his children filed for divorce from him he killed her. The doctor didn't piece this together until she had fell in love with him married and adopted his children. She gets her courage and decides to help put this man behind bars.

7. Sleeping With The Devil.....Tim Matheson, Shannen Doherty: A Drama about a woman recovering from a domestic violence relationship, only her former partner wants her back, even if it means taking her life.

8. A Cry For Help: The Tracey Thurman Story.....Nancy McKeon, Dale Midkiff: Tracy Thurman was married to a man who abused her. But he continues to harass her after she gets a restraining order, and the police do little to help. When he brutally beats her and almost kills her in front of the police, she sues the city and the police department failing to protect her.
