Moving

Mind is Out of Commission

Deana Marshall (Baconator)
Just a short explanation to what follows. We are in the process of moving and it has all been quite a big ordeal, with deadlines almost not being made to concerns of having to find temporary housing. I am sure you have noticed I have not been able to come by my fellow AC favorite producers and read your articles and comment like normal, and yes I am behind, I have not forgotten about you! I will catch up! Promise! Once our move is complete, due to the location, I will not have my DSL any longer.. this saddens me and I am going to have to resort back to dial up for a while until we get caught up financially again. I am not sure how long that will take so if you don't see full comments from me it is because I am frustrated with slow page loads and too far behind to give you the comments your articles truly deserve. So I apologize in advance. Much love from the Baconator.

Got a million things to do..

with a zillion things on my mind..

can't keep it straight...

pen doesn't work...

list after list...

where did I put the last one?

Not enough boxes,

not enough room..

time running out..

got to move soon.

Less then a day and a half

to restart our lives..

buried in boxes..

deeper in debt...

Scared and excited..

can we dig out?

Overwhelming feeling of stress..

truck payments late..

change of address...

right or wrong..

can't worry about that now...

Need quick cash..

quicker then quick...

nope, not paying those interest rates.

Float me a loan?

just a thou' or two...

who the hell has that kind of cash..

just laying around?

Got some muscle?

Want a good work out?

Will you work for sandwiches?

I will give you a few.

Disorganized trying to get organized...

can someone else just do this?

Yeah, not asking for much eh?

Quit laughing..

I'm not through.

Just take over and tell me what to do

I don't want to lead this circus

called a move.

Jumbled thoughts...

just like my mind..

looks like my living room...

Where are my shoes?

Calgon I am ready..

once I find the tub.

Is it all over yet?

Tell me when it's through.

I move arounf a lot myself so I can totally relate. Moving itself is stressful, but I'm always excited to start my life in a brand new place.

I have moved every year for the past 7 years, so I totally relate to this poem. Good luck with the move!

Yeah - that about sums it up. We had to clean out my mother's last apartment to move her, and she had about 50 years of stuff she'd taken everywhere. We came home and immediately began thinking about how to downsize before our own next move.

Been there and done that more times than I care to remember. Growing up, one of my best friend's mom's favorite hobby was moving, and good ol' Mike was always there to help! She had two very annoying tastes: She loved heavy, expensive furniture and second ot third-floor apartments! I guess one reason I got so strong as a teen was because she did this EVERY 3-4 months! Be careful, B. I just moved into this place here about 15 months ago, and if I have anything to say about it, this will be the place I die in before I move again, because I had enough!

Girlfriend, I have moved 12 times in the last 13 years; I know what stress is. :-)

Hopefully your move is at least domestic. The international moves are the worst. Good luck!

Aw, I missed ya, and now I know why. Don't worry, if you have a decent computer AC is okay on dial up. If your really jonesing for high speed, the library in your new area might have good computers. Good luck with the move!
