Moving Companies in Portland, Oregon

Denise Kawaii
Moving season is upon us, and with friends and family off on summer vacation, it can sometimes be difficult to find enough help to make it through a Do-It-Yourself move. Whether you are getting ready to move to the other side of the neighborhood or you are planning on moving from one state to another, the stress of this daunting task can be alleviated by hiring a moving company to pack, load and deliver your belongings to your new address.

I myself used a moving company when I moved back to Portland from one of my globe-trotting adventures, and I can honestly say it was the easiest move I have ever made. I intend on hiring movers again in the future, as I have found that the money spent is well worth the relief from days and weeks spent knee deep in boxes and packing tape.

  • Always do research on a company before inviting them into your home.
  • Ask family and friends for the names of companies they have had good experiences with.
  • Do your best to oversee the packing and loading being done without getting in the way of workers.
