MP4, a Step Up from You Average Mp3 Player

I just got a new toy. It is a MP4, the best little gadget I've seen for a while. It's a mix between a MP3 player for listening to music and a miniature video player.
It has 512 mg of internal memory and a SD slot for adding more memory. With all this space, you can download hours of music or video. I have several SD cards filled with over 24 hours of both music and video. I even have full length movies on a few SD cards!!

The video comes through very clear considering that it has a 1.5 view screen. The sound is the best I've heard in such a small unit. It comes with a set of ear buds, but I found them to be very uncomfortable. That's not a problem, though, because you can use your own favorite pair. (I recommend Gummies!) The earphone jack is smaller than the plug for regular earbuds, but once again, that is not a problem. It comes with an adapter that you plug into your earbuds, then plug into the MP4.

When it comes to loading music or videos on to the unit, it is really very simple. Just plug in the USB cord to your computer and load whatever you want on the unit. If you want to load the optional SD card, you can either insert the card in the MP4 and load it or you can use a card reader, then place the SD in the MP4 and go. You can even use it as a portable photo album. Load it with your favorite pics and show them off to all your friends!

It comes with a built in rechargeable battery and an ac/dc charger that is really cool. You use the USB cord that comes with it and plug one of the charging adapters onto the end of the USB cord then just plug it into an electrical outlet. Or you can change to the other adapter and plug into your car's cigarette lighter.

If you don't have access to a computer, don't worry. It is so easy to use the record function to record songs straight from the built in Fm radio. Just pick and choose which station you like and start recording. Remember you can always delete any song if you decide you don't want that one.

There are several other functions that this little unit can do (address and telephone book, browser, lyric display, TXT file, 16 menu languages, etc), but I haven't tried them out, so I really wouldn't want to comment on what I haven't tried.

So far, I give this gadget 4 stars!! I would recommend it to anyone. Besides the uncomfortable earbuds it comes with, I have not found anything else I dislike about it.

    Hello!
Where did you get this mp4 player? I'm interested! They sound verfy nifty! Also, do you think you could make a video review, or include pictures of this model? Thanks!

Sounds like it would be a good variation of the I-Pod, but the I-Pod does off the Apple brand name. Apple makes the best of every thing so you know you get the best of products when you purchase them. I'm not in the market for another MP3 player, but it is very nice to compare the I-Pod to others.

When you do get a chance to test the other functions like browser, book, etc... then please post more review on the media player! Thanks ^^
