I have decided that the good ole original Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is the best among the three currently available. The Duo style with the blue sided little scrubber, and the Extra Strength style just do not seem to hold up as well as the original one does.
These can be purchased at a variety of places such as Walmart, Target, and the like. Most major grocery stores should carry them too. The original Mr. Clean Magic Eraser goes for $1.99 for a two pack with the Duo style and the Extra Strength coming in more like $2.19 for a two pack. You can also purchase these at a bulk supply store for much cheaper, or my personal favorite is to catch a sale and use a coupon at the same time.
I have tested this product on a variety of surfaces and have been extremely pleased. Whether it be the soap scum in the bath tub or the mysterious spots that just appear on the walls, this product takes care of it, and doesn't damage the surface in the process. I have also tried it on ceramic tile floors, linoleum floors, counter tops, light fixtures, appliances, even the wheels on my car! My husband reaches for this first when he has something to tackle in the basement or the garage.
I am, however, still amazed at the number of people who seem to have never even heard of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Anytime someone talks of something that they cannot get clean, I always suggest this product first, and they are like "really, does it really work?", and I am like YES!! get it you will not regret it.
So, as I said before one word sums up this product....simply AMAZING!! I often wonder how in the world I did my household cleaning before. I cannot believe it took so long to get this type of product on the market. I also understand that a few competitors have started marketing a similar type sponge, although it will take a lot to surpass the quality of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I will get some of those to compare as soon as I can and of course will write a review for Associated Content.
Enjoy!
