Mr. Filibuster

Steven West
Talk, talk, talk,

All day long,

Never stopping,

Is anything wrong?

"Nope, everything is fine.

I'm as happy as can be.

I just love to talk.

It comes naturally."

But you never do anything else.

You don't get off your butt.

You seem to be

In an endless rut.

"Come on it's a game.

I play it the very best.

Nothing gets done

And all I do is rest."

This constant talking

Is driving me crazy.

My thinking is getting cloudy.

My brain is getting hazy.

"That's the point.

Give it a try.

That's the way

I make important bills die."
