Mr. Incredible Halloween Costume

Halloween is quickly approaching and it is time to pick out your costume. Why not be Mr. Incredible from Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles? I want to present to you my guide to do just that. You can be a superhero this Halloween without being Batman, Superman, or Spiderman.

Makeup

Sorry to break it to you guys, but you might actually need to wear some makeup for this costume. You will need black eyeliner or black Halloween face paint to create Mr. Incredible's mask. If you do your own with makeup, it will look ten times better than if you just buy a mask plus you won't have to try to keep up with a mask all Halloween night. Look on the bright side; this is the only makeup I'm going to ask you to wear this Halloween!

Costume Props

The only costume prop suggestion that I really have for you would be fake muscles (or real ones if you have already been working on it). You could buy some fake muscles or possibly pad yourself down with socks. If you are feeling really ambitious (and brave) you could fill balloons with pudding. If you go this route, keep in mind that there is a good chance that these might break sometime during the night.

Clothing

The easiest way to dress this part would be to buy the costume in the store (as unoriginal as that is) because it has the whole costume already put together including the fake muscles that I just mentioned. If you buy the costume, I would leave out their mask and still use eyeliner or face paint to make your mask.

If you are more creative and would like to put together your own Mr. Incredible costume, you could find a long sleeved red shirt and red leggings (the tighter the better for both of those items). You will need black industrial gloves (or any other black rubber gloves) and a black Speedo or briefs. If you're going to wear briefs, make sure you buy new ones for the costume. You will also need to find black boots that look as close to super hero boots as possible. You are also going to need to create "i" logo to go in the middle of the shirt which can be done by printing the logo out on iron on transfer paper.

Hair

If you were blessed with beautiful blond hair, then you are already good to go. If you need some help getting golden locks, look for a can of spray in hair color available in most places around Halloween. Pick up some gold or yellow to get the blond look of Mr. Incredible.
