And sometimes "my giraffe,"
Because I know he likes this game,
And I know that he will laugh.
I also know his eyes will dance,
As he thinks of what I said,
And I know that we will giggle,
When he calls me "Pumpkinhead."
Next, we put on music,
Because we love to dance about.
We twist and turn and jump around,
'Til this Granny's all worn out.
So then we both decide it's time,
To rest a little spell,
And share our many stories,
Both from books and those we tell.
We sit real close to talk and read,
He's such a little a sage,
I love to watch his precious hands,
Examine every page.
I love so many things I do,
With my grandson who's now three.
When he was born three years ago,
He breathed life into me.
