as though I'm ashamed.
I proudly stand up for her
and to the world proclaim;
I am a gun totin' American,
Texas born and bred,
I often raise a tea glass, to salute
the fallen dead.
Grandpa fought at Normandy.
My cousin died in Nam.
An uncle served in Turkey.
I have friends in Afghanistan.
But, there's no pussy footin' around it
this country will not stand,
if socialistic commies
take over our heart land.
So listen up, remember
those who've gone before
be eternal grateful,
it's you they were dying for.
Quit apologizing for our country,
proclaiming she's often wrong.
Face the world proudly
singing freedom's song!
