Mr. President, Fire that Woman

Raj
Millions of Conservatives across the nation are calling for the firing of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

Rep. John Carter, who is holding the 6th most powerful position among house Republicans, demanded on the house floor that President Obama fire Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano. His exact words, as reported by foxnews, were "Mr. President, fire that woman". Foxnews reported that Rep. John Carter also said "To go on television and say your apology to be, 'I'm sorry you were offended by this report, that's no apology.'"

Former NY Governor George Pataki was in Des Moines, Iowa this week. He was addressing the American Future Fund, a Conservative equivalent of moveon.org. During the address,as reported by "The Iowa Republican", he said "We have a Homeland Security Secretary who is more frightened by the threat of our returning soldiers than by the threat of Islamic terrorists" . Governor Pataki went on to say, "Mr. President, I'm more frightened by your Homeland Security Secretary than I am of our returning Veterans. I am frightened by a Homeland Security Secretary who suggests that friends, families and neighbors of our Vets should be concerned that they could become right-leaning extremists. She is dead wrong. What she has done is an insult to every veteran and an insult to every American; the right thing to do is fire her."

Rep. Michael Burgess from Texas told FOX News on Thursday "I don't know that the secretary understands the depth of the disruption that she's caused"

Rep. Michele Bachmann from Minnesota also demanded her resignation.

It should be mentioned that the nine paged Homeland security report published by Janet Napolitano few days ago labeled many of the Conservatives as extremists. Conservatives, who were dedicated to single issue like opposition to abortion or immigration, were labeled as extremists by the report. Conservatives, who were dedicated to opposing massive Government spending, bailout and Government intervention in free markets, were labeled as extremists by the report. Conservatives who were dedicated to supporting the principles laid out in our constitution about the limit to which federal government can interfere in policies of state government, were called as extremists by the report.

The most controversial part of the report said that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to exploit their skills and knowledge derived from military training and combat. The report added that the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to potential emergence of terrorist groups.

The Conservative community is clearly outraged that the very people who fought for our country and defended our lives, people who should be given utmost respect and importance, have been labeled by Napolitano as "Extremists".

Napolitano managed to create huge outrage among the Canadians too. She had said this week (as reported by newsmax), "Nonetheless, to the extent that terrorists have come into our country or suspected or known terrorists have entered our country across a border, it's been across the Canadian border. There are real issues there."

Canadians are outraged that Napolitano hasn't read the 9/11 reports and the details of where the terrorists came from.

It may actually be in President Obama's best interest to fire Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano before she pulls him down too, along with her.

It may actually be in President Obama's best interest to ask Janet Napolitano to void the already issued report, redefine the "Extremist" categories, and republish it, before the outrage grows bigger

I thought the United States Government was by the people and for the people e.g. the Government is the people. When and how did this change into Government by the Government and only for the Government, the people......aw the heck with them, all Government wants is the people's money so that those in Government can enjoy the good life. I have come to the conclusion that the founding Fathers were correct in NOT having political parties as those parties only care about winning and not about the people. I guess I am MAD !

Lady, and I use that term loosely, I am a retired Vietnam veteran with over 20 years of active service and I have never heard anything as unpatriotic as the stupidity spewing from your mouth, but then again you are hand picked by Obama. You should not only be fired, you should be exiled from the United States of America.

Ms. Napolitano is only the first that needs firing. Obama's whole cabinet could have been chosen by Felipe Calderon. Before Obama is out of office, we'll see amnesty for the millions of criminals here, plus millions more pouring in. There will never be a need for anyone to apply correctly; all they need to do is walk in and with the laizze-faire attitude of this administration, they'll just say, "well, since there here, it's too late to do anything about it.? Sound familiar?
