Mr.Clean Magic Eraser: Product Review

Why Clean When You Can Erase?

I had seen the commercials for the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for a while when I thought I would give them a try. I found a 4 pack at Wal-Mart for $4.77, and picked them up.

I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on some scuff marks my daughter had managed to leave on the floor with her shoes. I followed the directions on the package and used a little water, squeezed the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and rubbed the scuff marks. They came up as if they were chalk on a black board.

I have tile on my kitchen counters, and coffee drips from the coffee maker and gets into the tile grout. Since the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a sponge, I was able to use it to clean the coffee stains out of the grout that have been there for quite a while.

I decided I was going to try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on just about every mark and dirt spot I could think of in the house.

The next thing I tried with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser was the finger marks around the doors. Again they completely disappeared. The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is very well named. I went through the entire house cleaning every finger mark I could find around the doors, and around light switches, you name it I cleaned it.

I took the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser into the bathroom. The mouthwash we use leaves blue stains on the counter top if it happens to drip there and you don't get it cleaned up in a hurry. I had to rub a little bit more with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser but the blue stains did clean up.

I had read that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would clean soap scum off of the shower door, so I gave that a try. It took me a few minutes but I was able to use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the whole shower surface, and got rid of soap scum and hard water deposits that have always been near impossible to get rid of. I also used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to clean the shower and sink fixtures.

I wondered what the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would do for the car. I got one of the erasers wet, and took it outside to the car. I used it to clean up some fingerprints from the dashboard, I also used to clean out the stains in the cup holder that is built into the console, that have been with me almost as long as I have owned the car.

The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is nothing short of miraculous. I went online and found all sorts of suggestions of what else the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser will clean. I have not tried them yet, but I plan to give it a god try!

The sponges will begin to shred after several uses, but you can't expect them to last forever. They do last a good long time, and you definitely get your money's worth out of a box of four.
