The house comes equipped with an older sister and as baby sister as well as a puppy. There are twelve rooms, including a rooftop playground, that encompass both sides of the house so my daughters are not cramped and fighting over play space. Even the puppy has his own room. The windows change from dark to light or rain to shine and the refrigerator, cabinets, dishwasher, toilet and laundry basket open and close. There are several interactive buttons throughout the house that encourage sharing, caring and preparing. The doorbell, the pet bed, the cradle, the radio, the refrigerator, the toilet and the bathroom sink all have phrases, sounds or songs to entertain your child. Mrs. Goodbee is just the right size for play and folds compactly with a tri fold design when not in use. There is also a convenient storage drawer tucked beneath the mid section.
Another aspect of the house I enjoyed is the diversity of the children depicted in the photographs on the wall, as well as the choices of dolls. You can choose dolls of different ethnicities, hair colors etc. to fit your child's unique environment. I am not certain if the house is available with a choice of ethnicity for the family, but the accessory packs offer a decent selection
The booklet included with the house provides you and your child with additional activities. When your daughter completes a "good deed" you can reward her with a sticker to decorate her good deeds garden found in the back of Mrs. Goodbee. Under the stickers you will find a code that you can enter online to play games, plant seeds in the garden or create new friends. The booklet also provides you with instructions for your child to donate to Goodwill. She will receive a certificate of appreciation in mail for her exceptional good deed, along with another code to unlock a special activity online.
As far as I am concerned, there are very few cons with the Mrs. Goodbee interactive dollhouse. The front door does not open and as I mentioned before I'm not sure about the selection of the family. At about eighty dollars it is a bit pricey, but aside from that I am very satisfied with this dollhouse and I would recommend it to my friends and family.
