Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie Review: Ease of Preparation
Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie is very easy to prepare. Just remove the dessert from the packaging and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Then allow the dessert to cool for 10 to 20 minutes before applying the frosting. Please note that you should only apply frosting to the portion you are going to eat right then. You can refrigerate the leftover frosting for up to 5 days.
Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie Review: Taste
I was quite surprised when I cut into the Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie. The sauce around the fruit was almost red. Let me say that I love the crust on this dessert as well as the crumb topping and the consistency of the fruit. But, the sauce had so much cinnamon that it made the sauce taste bitter. By far, my favorite part of the Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie was the cream cheese frosting.

Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie Review: Price
Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie costs around $7.50. For this price, you could make a homemade version that would taste much better.
Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie Review: Satisfaction Rating
I would have to give the Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie 2 stars. The bitterness of the cinnamon, plus the high price really hurts the score. The only reason this dessert got 2 stars was because I like the concept of this dessert and the frosting. But, I cannot recommend the Mrs. Smith's Cinnabon Apple Crumb Pie.

Post a CommentGreat review, Amy. I don't know much about pie myself but I do buy it for my husband. I'll steer clear of this one, though.
Good, honest review - thanks for the heads up!
Thanks for the warning, Amy. I wouldn't want to try a dessert that tasted so bitter.

Two stars, that surprised me. They should have used Chinese cinnamon which is not bitter. Great to know Amy, thanks!
