MSNBC Mouthpiece Chris Matthews Says "Obama is the Last Kennedy Brother!"

Snidely Whiplash
MSNBC. It is allegedly an amalgam of Microsoft and NBC news. It's really more like a master-slave relationship, only I am not sure who is the master and who is the slave.

Add in the obtuse Chris "Obama sends a thrill up my leg" Matthews and we have completed the circle of idiocy! And never to be denied an opportunity to say something stupid in public, now Matthews regales we unwashed with his brilliance that "Obama is the last Kennedy bother!"

I knew Joe Kennedy Sr. was a scum bag Nazi supporter, but I had no clue he was Obama's daddy too! And they told us Obama's momma was the White one? Well, I have seen Joe Kennedy Sr., and he was lily White, so the melanin in Mr. Obama had to have come from a black woman, so now we see a real monkey wrench thrown into the Obama was born in Hawaii to a Black Kenyan and White Kansas chick! Hell, based on all we hear now Obama may in fact be an alien - from another planet, I mean!

"What's that you say?" Chris Matthew's comment was not a literal, but a figurative one? Oh, okay. Sorry - what with all the birth certificate scandal I thought maybe old Chris Matthews was hooking us citizens up here. My bad!

So Teddy Kennedy dies after a long and privileged life and Chris Matthews is so torn up he adds to the Kennedy legacy?

Or is this what I and all intelligent peeps know it is? An attempt not to pile onto the Democrat tradition of the Kennedy Dynasty, but instead it is an attempt to add gravitas to a child playing grown up.

This is another cheerleading effort by Matthews the lying idiot! Now, he's not at all partisan folks. he's just in love with Obama. I'll bet he's got such a chubb for his Messiah that he considers the "Obama Girl" competition for the affections of His Most Messianic Washboard Abs. Bet Matthews just wants to "scratch out that hussy's eyes!"

As I wrote last month, Mr. Obama, you are no John Kennedy! Not even close. John Kennedy was the last Democrat I loved. Of course he would be considered a far-Right extremist to this current crop of uber-brained Progressives. I honestly do feel bad for good old Democrats, as their party has been hijacked, but that is another topic for another time.

John Kennedy was a true war hero. His story of the PT-109 is well known and documented. He should have received the Medal of Honor for his personal sacrifice to save the wounded and his whole crew. After his PT Boat was split clean in two by a Japanese destroyer in the pitch dark of night in the "Slot" off of Guadalcanal, Kennedy swam to the nearest land he could find to see if it was inhabited by Japanese troops.

It was not. He swam all the way back to his crew still clinging to the flotsam of his smashed vessel. He then rigged up a harness to support a severely burned crewman and placed the "lead" of the harness in his mouth. He then swam, the severely burned crewman in tow, and led his crew to safety on the deserted island.

Every night JFK swam out into the channel to try and signal any passing Allied vessel, all to no avail. After days and days of doing this the crew were discovered by some natives from another island. JFK took a coconut and carved into the fruit a message conveying the crew of the now missing 109 were alive. He also carved into the fruit that the native would lead rescuers back to JFK and his crew's location.

Throughout the entire ordeal JFK put his life on the line over and over again to protect his crew form wandering Japanese vessels. He successfully delivered his crew to safety. If anyone ever deserved the Congressional Medal of Honor, it was JFK, yet he did not receive one. I believe he was given the Navy Cross for his gallantry.

So, is Obama fit to wear the mantra "The Last Kennedy Brother?" Not even close, unless we are talking a mirror image of Teddy Kennedy, the least distinguished of the Kennedy brothers.

JFK & RFK were reasonably accomplished and distinguished politicians, and despite the goings-on of the famous Kennedy family, JFK earned his spot in history as a leader of men and a nation.

JFK was a hawk. He was an unabashed jingoist, like myself. Unlike the lily-liveried lefties of today's progressive movement, JFK was an unapologetic America lover. "We will pay any price; bear any burden to further democracy."

These are not words we hear from current lefties, and damn sure not from Obama! And Teddy Kennedy was no hawk either, so but for the name and the DNA he was hardly "Kennedyesque" so take it for what it's worth.

Now in fairness, Obama is a mirror image of Teddy - all for the movement and to Hell with the consequences for an entire nation. A lot of gum-flapping about the have nots from people who know nothing about being one. Oh sure, Obama did not grow up well off, but most of us didn't either.

And like Teddy, everything Obama has done since young adulthood was timed for political expedience and opportunity.

So, I guess in some ways good ol' Barack is a dead cert knock off for Teddy, but in no way is he an even pale reflection of JFK. He is not fit to have his name mentioned in the same paragraph as that of John F. Kennedy.

Once again good old Chris Matthews has taken his little, barely watched by the viewing public bully pulpit and made an ass of himself.

Hey, maybe Barack and Chris Matthews are real life brothers. That sounds about right to me!

You certainly have a way with words. Who needs the media when I have you & Tony Vega? :-)

Although I don't agree with many of Ted Kennedy's ideas, I cannot insult him by putting B.O. in his category. Mike Huckabee said that Teddy was a grand statesman who was sincere in thinking he was serving the people the best he could. And if Huckabee said it, it's good enuf for me. I'm not gonna drag out the stuff he did 30 years ago, like they do to Bush.

Yeah, there is so much hatred and anger in the US today we need Olberman to spew some more out, Patricia. Drink that Kool Aid! One day all of the Obama supporters will wake up and see the web that is being woven and be trapped in it like the rest of us. Oh well, we'll try to pick up the pieces when that happens.

    Nice one, Whippy! :)

MSNBC is good for only one thing IMO; they show reruns of Chris Hansen's "To Catch a Predator", my new favorite comedy. LOL@ Chris "Obama sends a thrill up my leg" Matthews. Keep this up, and you'll be the next Mike Royko!

While I am a staunch Keith Olbermann fan, Matthews is an ass. And, to paraphrase Lloyd, "We knew JFK, even Obama is no JFK."

  • Shanika8/28/2009

Not sure I'd want to be compared to the guy who left his pregnant girlfriend to die.

  • Jennifer Wagner8/28/2009

Obama doesn't even compare to JFK, except for maybe age. Wow!

  • Kim Linton8/28/2009

LOL @ Nancy although she makes a valid point. JFK would be flabbergasted if he could see what his party has become.

  • Nancy Canfield8/28/2009

I bet JFK is smacking his little brother around about now.
